Our Independent Living Program was created to help those with disabilities receive information and partner with an advocate at DAC to form a plan on how to live as independent as possible. Each Independent Plan is tailored to each individual, and put together with an IL Specialist.
Check out some of the other resources we offer with our IL Program:
We offer self-advocacy and support in searching for and obtaining transitional, rental, and permanent housing. IL Advocates can help with understanding applications and available Low Income and Subsidized Housing in the area. Weekly Rental Lists are available at both Center locations for Chico, Oroville, Paradise, Redding, and surrounding areas. Both by walk-in request or email.
* Fill out the form below to be added directly to our email housing list.
