Our Mission
Disability Action Center is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1980 to meet specific needs of people with disabilities living in Northern California. Our dedicated staff provides free support to help community members with disabilities achieve and/or maintain their optimal level of self-reliance and independence. We can provide support services such as information, housing assistance, and provider referrals. Our goal is to work with each individual client to eliminate barriers (physical, emotional, societal, etc.) to increase opportunities for participation in the community.
Disability Action Center serves nine Northern California Counties including:

Disability Action Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We support equal treatment of all employees without regard to race, national origin, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, physical or mental disability or other basis protected by law.
