Systems Change Coordinator

Forest began working at DAC in October of 2011. He is President of a local advocacy group, Butte County Health Care Coalition, devoted to passing a single-payer “Medicare for All” program in California and the U.S. He is also a 10-year cancer survivor who found himself suddenly disabled. After many years of working to improve his health, he was able to return to work at ILSNC. This position of organizer/advocate allows him to fulfill a lifelong ambition of wanting to work in politics. He has also worked as a nutritional consultant and computer technician.
